Farm For Sale...
Yes, you read that right. I would rather stay here forever... but since I live in one of the fastest growth areas in the country..it is time.
Plus, I am still driving a 1990 pick up with NO AC ... this is Texas, people!
I sold the horses when Sweetie moved out back in March of '06. I did donate Smokey the big Thoroughbred to a Riding Program for the Handicapped. (I do have horses on the farm though. It is great to see them in the pastures.)
It is time for me to ... well to find ME again.. you know that Artist, wanna be writer.
So the farm blog is being phased out.
You will find me over at my Artsy Blog. I will be blogging everyday in November and doing NaNoWriMo.
It's been fun... beginning in 2002 with my Anonymous Blog to ALL the pages on the farm blog.
I miss Tam, Kel, and Jen.... I've been lurking around the rest of my blogroll this past year +
I'm ready for a new adventure. I hope y'all will join me.

The Princess returned as a Queen... in the spring of '07

I like her boyfriend. Prom 2007
She is a Class of 2007 Graduate and is spreading her wings... with my blessings!
Our relationship continues as those who have gone before us in the dance of Mothers and Daughters. I have hope.

The Princess has vacated the castle
Thirteen Things About What the heck happened
1.she moved in over at the.... is it tacky to say evil empire? Probably. Moved in over at her dad's. Okay, for those that have read my blog since the anonymous days, pick your jaw up off the floor. Yes, THAT ex-husband... of course it is a long story,
2. short version... I caught her skipping school on March 9th, March 10th she went to Disney World for Winter Guard Competion (some punishment, right), her dad picked her up on March 14th at the airport (she was going to spend the rest of spring break there and come home on the 18th) and I came home to find a note saying that she was going to live at her dad's on March 15th.
3. April 3rd I was served court papers for a hearing to change her "domicle".
Yep, pick your chin up again.
4. (She had signed the paper to do that March 24th, only 9 days after she left me the "living at dad's" note, and we hadn't talked since the 13th... I'd still like to know what prompted that, it's not like she had been spending every other weekend over there in ... years).
5. "Oh it's just a 17 year old teenager thing, she'll be home soon" "She's just mad cause you caught her skipping" and so on is what family and friends keep telling me.
6. The ex is also asking that I pay him child support. Does your jaw hurt yet? The same ex that owes me around $20K plus, ... out of the $30k from before.
7. Those people are now telling me "it's about the money"...
8. Of course there is lots more to this, she rarely returns responses to my emails, doesn't want to see me, tells people that I am crazy or psycho...
Yes, Sweetie what you say does get back to me.
9. And yes there is a boy/man involved in all of this... she's in love! That's why she skipped school, to be with him... he's out of school and in the National Guard. (please keep him in your prayers as he will be shipping out soon, I have been told.)
10. at her dad's her only chore is to do her laundry, they eat out every night, and she is taking horseback riding lessons twice a week ... her dad bought her the dress in the above picture, my rules would not have allowed a slit up to her hip.
11. I have changed my WILL, Sweetie, you better hope that you start talking to and visiting me before I drop dead or the rescued dobermans in Texas will be very well fed.
12. those that have been reading my blogs know that I use humor when I hurt...
but I didn't think it was possible for my heart to hurt as much as it has, somedays the pain is unbearable (one of those days is when I redid my will, I thought I was having a heart attack) and yet I keep breathing.
Out of the 83-84 days she has been gone I have cried every day but 2 and those were not consecutive non-crying days. My girl friends tell me I am grieving.
13. I love her and miss her.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
I need hugs!!!
As a very good friend of mine says.... Just keep Marching.
So I March and March, as much as possible with a stinking walker.

It's been 2 whole months since I blogged!!
And quite the 2 months it has been... I had a birthday (Jan.24th) and Sweetie had a birthday (Feb.22).
And I have been home much more than I cared to be. I had servere allergic reactions to the chemicals used to restain the concrete floors at work and again when the floors were sealed and resealed.
But for the good news, I have been working on my art and I have several things listed on eBay right now. You can check them out using this link.
Two hours left on my dragonfly.... 
Our weather has been quite warm all winter, but we have finally started getting alittle rain. We still need more though.
My knee is still not what I had hoped it would be by now. Still using the walker, but I have started using the cane around the house. I tried to go without the cane, but I limped funny and in hurt my lower back.
Speaking of backs, Kat at My Single Mom Life is home recuperating from her back surgery... Stop in and say hi, if you get a chance.
well that's enough for me. I need to do laundry and get ready for the week ahead.
One more thing, anyone watching the Academy Awards tonight?

1. Ice knee...doing that now
2. Take shower...done
3. Eat healthy breakfast...oatmeal and half banana
4. Get to work on time... not going to happen, see #1
5. Take pain pill... done
6. Take vitamins...
At work
7. Work on Jester series so I can list them on eBay
8. Write out in longhand post for pounds2go
9. Fill in new calender with pay days
10.Highlight Fridays so I remember to put in hours worked that week
After Work
11.Pick up prescription at CVS
12.Go see Sweetie at work, order a healthy grilled chicken, no bun
13.Try to stay awake long enough to post on pounds2go

Been a little busy around here... working on my studio and sweetie's hang out room. We still a bunch more to do but it's getting there.

I haven't taken an update photo for studio or sweetie's part of this garage conversion, maybe later today.
Monday, got rid of "to donate" stuff in studio conversion. Filled up the pick up bed. We laid down the "dumpster" rug. It's very nice.
Tuesday, Sweetie went with a girlfriend to a "spa", which had scheduled them for the wrong day... I was a little ill and had to cancel meeting my Spoil a Blogger, Shannon. (sorry we didn't meet this trip, but we will, hon)
Wednesday, I had a doctor's appt, after that we picked up Sweetie's current boyfriend, ate at Chili's, then rushed to the movies. We saw Cheaper by the Dozen 2, in a standing room only, on a Wednesday afternoon. Why weren't these people working. Seems like everyone was on vacation this week.
Missed Thursday Thirteen and the template contest, darn it. I was going to do 13 resolutions...
I do have 3 unbreakable ones!
1. Walk with out walker... and not fall down
2. Walk with a cane....... and not fall down
3. Walk................... and not fall down
Once I accomplish those I will work on some others.
Mostly I really want to live healthier in 2006, take real good care of myself, it's amazing how fast age creeps up on you. I want to be around for many more years, many more.
I have some artsy and writing goals, as well. Goals, not resolutions. A plan.
Sweetie did have her spa day and came back even more gorgeous! She spent the night, Friday, Friday night, and most of Saturday at her dad's.
Two of her 3 brothers with their families were here for the week. I got to see the boys and little ones on Friday night. Real darlings, 2 little cowboys and 1 little cowgirl. who looks alot like sweetie at that age.
And did I remember to take any pics while they were here. No, not until right after they left. Might still have a chance as they are back, having transmission trouble and didn't make it very far on their trip home to Ohio.
I spent Friday working on some new ACEO's to sell on eBay, knitting alittle, and checking out "groups" on yahoo. Joined a couple "single farmer" groups! I also learned how to play Texas Hold 'Em on yahoo games...
Probably why I didn't post any updates. It's fun and now there is a feature where you can actually "chat" with the other players instead of standard messages. If any of you play games on yahoo let me know and I will give you my ID.
Saturday arranged bookshelf room divider, three bookshelves, separate studio and sweetie's space. And they are almost full. It's nice to finally have a place to put all my books. At least I hope all. I still have a few boxes and stacks to go. Alot that need to be read and passed on.
Last night I celebrated at home, kept a eye out for any fireworks the neighbors might shoot off. It's so dry here that the pasture would have caught on fire in a New York second. Thankfully, the only fireworks I saw were far enough away that I wasn't to concerned. Still anyone shooting them off were I D I O T S !!!
Sweetie slept through all my EST and CST " Happy New Year" attempts to wake her. It amazes me how much a teenager can sleep. It was hard to believe Dick Clark aged so much after his stroke, but it was great to see him there "ringing in the new year".
Sweetie has to work from 11-2 today...and I might just take a nap.
Mom update: Her second knee replacement (on the same knee) went very well. Pain meds this time do not have her "out of it". No more oxycotton (sp) for her. She will be at the Manor until Jan. 10. She is doing great in PT. Keep her in your prayers please.
